Week commencing 18th May 2020
As you will have seen, this week is Mental health awareness week.
The theme for this is Sleep Heroes!
Friday the 22nd May is our annual Purple Day. The aim of this special day is to raise awareness and recognise our efforts to promote wellbeing and positive mental health for all children, staff and families. We would like to encourage all children to have a dress up day at home and wear their pyjamas. We hope that your child(ren) join in with this to make Purple Day one to remember especially under the current COVID-19 restrictions.
All learning this week will be based around Mental health awareness, and lots of resources and activities can be found under the 'Mental Health Awareness Week and DEMAT Purple Day' tab at the top of the class page.
Please send any photos of the things you do at home to EYFS@st-johns-pri.cambs.sch.uk
In addition to this, the weekly phonics, number, letter, and high frequency tasks on Purple Mash have been set.
Please remember practice the first 16 high frequency words every day. Can you spot any in your bedtime story?
