From Monday 18th May until Friday 22nd May we are thinking about our mental health and in particular the importance of sleep to support this. Below are some documents which give you information and activities about the theme 'Sleep Heroes'. Please take a look and try some of the activities that are within them. If you would like to send in some photos of you being a sleep hero, or of your work, then please do so via the year 2 email address. Please make sure that adults are happy for photos to be sent as they will be shared with DEMAT (our academy trust). Sleep tight!
I would also like to share this link with you, which contains an e-book called 'Everybody Worries' which deals with the idea of worries and anxiety in a very child friendly way. https://en.calameo.com/read/000777721945cfe5bb9cc?authid=Xu9pcOzU3TQx
We have also been asked by the Mental Health Officer for Cambridge United Community Trust to share with you a special live assembly that they will be delivering via YouTube for primary school children & families on Thursday 21st May at 10am on their YouTube page (please see photograph). They have asked that parents complete the following sign up form (see link) to help them to gauge who will be watching and from where - https://forms.gle/jzZUZkrbdqMVL2q67
