English - Today we would like you to write a traditional tale. You can copy the plot of one that you already know or create your own! Remember to include all 5 sections (Monday's work) and include brilliant character and setting descriptions using adjectives, expanded noun phrases and similes (just like the work from Wednesday and Thursday this week). You could also write the story of Little Red Riding Hood using the sequencing pictures below to help you. The story can be completed using your English books or using the 2do that is on purple mash using 2 create a story. There are also templates on purple mash for you to use which can be found under Home/English/Story telling and there you will find templates for Cinderella, Goldilocks, 3 Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood and 3 Billy Goats Gruff. So many ways!! Once you have written your story, please read it through to make sure it has the correct punctuation, tense and that your sentences make sense. If you have worked on purple mash please hand in or save your work in your work folder and let us know it is there so we can find it. Have fun!
Maths- Today we would like you to practice your number bonds. Practice recalling number bonds to 10/20 and 100. Then we would like you to reason with number bonds. For example 7+3= 10 therefore I know 70+30 is 100 and I also know that 700+300 =1000. See what patterns you can create and write down your findings onto the sheet or into your book.
