English: When writing a recount, it is very important that we get our punctuation and spelling correct. Punctuation are our full stops, capital letters, question marks and exclamation marks. To help practice these, chop a capital letter, fly-kick a full stop or smash a sentence in this fun game.

Maths: Today we are reading and writing numbers in numerals and words. Work through the powerpoint and try  to guess the number by reading the word and counting the objects. Some 0 - 20 numbers are more tricky to spell than others. You can use the flashcards below to read the words so you are familiar with them. On Purplemash complete today's quiz; Read and Write Numbers then the activity; Numbers in Numerals and Words.

Phonics: Today we are looking at the spelling of ‘ey’ to make the ‘/ee/’ sound such as ‘donkey’ and ‘journey’. Watch the video to recap sound and spelling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jua0OODatow

Once you have recapped log onto Purplemash and complete the task of the alternate spelling /ee/. Read the words and match to the correct picture.

PE: Complete Day 5 (Final day) of the Netball challenge and send us your picture or video of you completing the challenge. Take part as prizes can be won at the end of the week for possibly yourself and the school. Photos and videos create points and points make prizes. For more information, see virtual school games tab on our home learning page. All photos or videos need to be submitted by 5pm today!

PSHE: Last week, you were asked to think of different things that can put you at risk/in danger. After choosing two things from your ideas, I would like you to discuss with someone at home, how you would feel if this happened to you and what you would do to not be in that situation anymore. Log onto Purplemash to see pictures to discuss. Attached is a word mat for a list of different emotions/feelings to help you.
