We are delighted your child will be joining our St John's family in September.
The current school closures in place due to COVID-19 are presenting an unprecedented situation for us all, but we wanted to reassure you that out EYFS team are working hard behind the scenes to make sure you children have the best possible start to their school life.
Schools are responding daily to government advice, and therefore, we are currently unable to provide you with the usual timetable for school induction sessions, and meetings we would usually hold for you and your children in the summer term. The health and safely of you and your family, and our school community are priority. However, please be assured that we are still in communication with pre-school and nursery settings where possible, and we will be ready to start welcoming you all properly as soon as we are able to.
We are proud of how closely we work with our families to support the education and well-being of our pupils, and will give every effort to helping you child settle into school life quickly and happily.
Once you have accepted your child's place, you will receive a welcome letter in the post.
Induction packs will be available to collect for Tuesday 12th May, and will need to be completed and returned to school at your earliest convenience. Please be assured that you will be able to collect and drop off all paperwork safely, and in line with social distancing guidelines. If you have an enquiries regarding the paperwork in the induction pack, then please contact one of our wonderful office staff on 01480 375026.
Thank you for choosing St John's, and welcome to our school community; we cannot wait to meet your little ones as they start their seven year adventure with us.
